One might be forgiven for thinking that north Devon with its glorious coastline and it beautiful rolling hills and deep wooded valleys has more than its fair share of good things.
Then there’s the golf.
The sheer variety of golf courses within 10 miles of Sunnymeade, has to be seen to be believed

Royal North Devon Golf Club – (sometimes known as Westward Ho!) is the oldest Links Course in England. The course represents a true test of golf with a huge timber fronted bunker, burn and ditches which present a formidable challenge. http://www.royalnorthdevongolfclub.co.uk
Ilfracombe Golf Club – High above, and overlooking the Bristol Channel; a course to test the best and delight the rest! Lush fairways, tempting greens, and a sometimes unpredictable wind all provide the ingredients for pure pleasure or utter despair. The nineteenth hole has a well-stocked bar where you can either celebrate or drown your sorrows. http://www.ilfracombegolfclub.com
Willingcott Valley Golf Club – The whole courses is incredibly picturesque with far reaching rural views over the pretty village of West Down as far as the eye can see the Brendon Hills.
